HBA - Health and Business Alliance

About Us

The Health and Business Alliance, Inc. is a not-for-profit professional association comprised of dynamic individuals who represent the business community, the not-for-profit sector and the healthcare industry.  Together this diverse group analyzes the different ways they each conduct business and then examines new and innovative ways they can work together for mutual benefit.  This process results in action oriented projects, new strategic alliances, and educational programs that benefit HBA members and the community.

General meetings are held monthly and are partly devoted to hands-on, working creativity sessions that result in the formation of new projects and ideas.  There is ample opportunity for even newcomers to get involved immediately by joining committees and working alongside people from diverse industries who are willing to share expertise and resources.
Examples of the projects that the HBA has helped to create in the past are

  • Employment Opportunity Co-op
  • High School Student Mentoring Program
  • Eldercare Expositions
  • Community Service IMPACT Awards

These original ideas and projects have created “Win-Win” situations for businesses, workers, and for the community.

The HBA offers its wealth of talent through the Speaker’s Bureau, which provides free educational seminars on a wide variety of topics including issues in law, health, finance, business management, self-improvement, real estate, eldercare, and women’s issues.  Any community group or corporation can make arrangements to have programs conducted on premises or at locations arranged by HBA.

The HBA provides an open forum for anyone with a “wish list” to come and make connections to other resourceful individuals who can help them achieve their goals or make their ideas come to fruition.
